Is it worth visiting on a cloudy day?

SUMMIT's main floors sit at 326 m, close to where Manhattan's low cloud base often settles, so the outward view is genuinely uncertain on an overcast day. What sets it apart from the other Midtown decks is that the experience itself — mirrored rooms, reflective floors, the Ascent glass lift — doesn't depend on visibility outside the glass. A cloudy day here is a real maybe rather than a likely skip, because half of what people come for is indoors regardless of the sky.

When is the best time to go up?

Because the installation holds up in any weather, there's less of a single 'right' hour here than at a pure-view deck.
